HTC Customer service is terrible

I just want to warn anyone getting an HTC phone to beware and think again. For the best part of 4 months I have been sending off my phone for repair only to get it back with the same fault the next day. I am awaiting a replacement as its been 3 times now. Who knows when it will come if ever, I continue to wait!

good luck with the replacement, we had more than 5 repairs to the two phones we had, had them both replaced by the network/insurance for other issues, they then broke, HTC sent my o2 phone back on Virgin Media and all the warranty screw covers missing.

Absolute joke of a company, recycled the phones and got iPhones and I absolutely detest Apple, that was 9 months ago, and both phones are perfect, pains me to say it, but its not all marketing after all Mr Apple.

HTC are in trouble...they think selling lots of handsets will keep them afloat and the customer service doesn't matter... they clearly still haven't learned anything...

To counter this, my friend's Desire (which he's had for over 2 years) developed a fault. HTC arranged a courier to pick it up from his work place, fixed it and delivered it back within 2 days. With no cost to him.

depends, was it the fateful turning itself off problem when it overheated?

HTC should have recalled the phone, but it was cheaper to make people suffer with the dodgy mainboards...

All companies(mobiles and others) will have their bad and good customer service stories.
I had an earpiece fault which I reported to them on a Friday. They arranged a pickup the following Monday(I guess the are closed weekends) and returned the phone repaired on Wednesday. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised as I had expected a wait of at least a week due to my experience of repairs by Nokia and Motorola.

Just for balance, my One X developed a fault. HTC had it collected last Tuesday, it was back in my hand today, working flawlessly.
