If the Spanish card is anything to go by I'd rather keep the olympics one lol

Me too, I'll be OK until late 2014 but if they rebrand, and change their debit cards, they might replace them all. Hope it's not like these though, they look horrendous

OP If you really want a new card you could snap it in half and say it was damaged ;)

If the OP doesn't like the card then they should move to a bank that allows personalised card i.e barclays.

I'm with Barclays, I have a Premier account but I've never been offered a 'personalised card'.

Because you have to go online to do it.

I would imagine they would send you a new one if you want one - it's a routine task for a cashier / CS rep, and unless there's a security issue, they probably wouldn't even care about a reason :T

How much do they charge for that?

I've got a 'Barclays Bank Account' (ie, the plain, free no-frills version) and got a letter through saying I could have my own picture on my debit card for just £4.95. Now, just 2 months later, they have sent me another letter saying I can have a personalised card for free. Ignored that one too, but finally gave in when I deposited a cheque and they asked again. So now my debit card has a picture of a hamster holding a set of dumbbells. I don't actually use the account, but I find the card is useful to prevent someone from reading my contactless credit card.

There's a limit of so many cards you can ask for in a year, but I know my mother has had 2 cards so far this year and not been charged anything.
