Is it possible to keep your mobile number, but change networks?

from Orange to T-moble?

somebody told me something about pac codes?

if you change numbers this way, is the New phone line problem free?

Its easy

Phone up your provider and ask for the PAC code

If you are on a contract then give your notice in too but wait until nearly the end of this period before leaving - as soon as you use the PAC you are officially gone and they will charge you for the shortfall to the end of the contract

If you are PAYG then dont bother unless you have ££££ credit on your account

Give PAC to new network and they port your number over during the course of an agreed day
