This guy is a Joiner by trade so does fencing, decking, roofing, indoor joinery work such as kitchens, stairs, hanging doors etc. Also can supply and fit wooden floors. He also tiles. In fact, you could consider him a bit of a handy man as he'll do cleaning gutters, power washing, strimming/mowing gardens etc also. Whatever job you need done, give him a call and he'll have a look or give you a quote and if he can't do it, he'll know a guy who can as he's in the building/construction trade he has plenty of contacts. He's also reliable and hardworking!

He's based in Tyrone but will travel all over the country - giving him a plug as work's scarce at the minute!

I know this is an old thread, but posting in hope - perhaps someone can help please.

I am looking for a decent painter/painting company, for what I consider a fair crack of work.

Both inside and out. Work can be done dependent on weather.

Single storey [bungalow ] + some outbuildings/walls.

A timely resurrection for this thread as I'm having my entire flat renovated. So far I have used

Chris came out to measure up and quote and came back every day to check up on the work and make sure I was happy. Big Davy and his team carried out the work and again I was consulted on every aspect. They were also happy to put up mirrors, shelving etc that I supplied. They weren't the cheapest quote but what sold them for me was the fact that they listened to what I had to say, made suggestions to take my disablilites into account and re-did things if they saw it would make things easier for me.

I found Davy to be a perfectionist to the extent that I got frustrated at times but the end result was perfect. My friend who has used another painter for the last 20 years is now going to get him to do her next lot of painting. He doesn't do papering only paintng, interior and exterior. Friendly, chatty but didn't stop working for tea or lunch. Price was fair.

Carpet fitters, joiners and electricians are next on my list so any recommendations for them would be welcome.

Can I add my hubby to the list please? He's a bricklayer / handyman with full health and safety qualification and ticket to drive telescopic machine. Looking an electrician to put a few lights up.Have been quoted £20 a light but some of the lights didn't even cost that.Also looking for someone to put aerial in 3 bedrooms, have an outside aerial but need it put in 3 rooms and dining room.Thanks

Always ask for a quote from any electrician!!
