Anyone loaded it? I did yesterday, it's very good and if you have a barclaycard account too, then it includes that automatically, similar proceedure to loading pingit, and same simple log in feature

Yes i have it, i really like it. I also have the Natwest one, but the Barclays one I feel is better, as it shows all your account balances on one screen, as opposed to separate screens like Natwests
Debt free and staying that way!
  • I downloaded and signed up for pingit and the mobile banking app. Am unregistering myself from them as soon after I did I had a load of fraud on my card.

Of course there's no way of knowing if it was to do with the apps, but it just seems highly suspect as there was no activity on my account for about 2 months prior to this and I do not use it to buy stuff online. It also hasn't been in a cash point in a very long time.

Are you saying the fraudsters have cracked the pin sentry system?

I've installed it and am very pleased with it. I had recently installed Pingit just to have easy access to my balance, but now have full access to my account through the new banking app. Very impressed.

Perhaps my details were intercepted when I was registering for the service.

I'm not saying it was the app, but it just seems highly suspicious.

I'm finding it hard to understand how fraud could have come from the app? What kind of fraud was it?

I've used online banking for 9 years and more recently mobile banking and I've never once had any issue with fraud.
