Certainly you can make a copy to your PC. You'll need a 'DVD ripper' compatible with Win 7 (sorry, all the stuff I use is older, vintage software) - here's a tech review of a few candidates0

Do you already have any DVD burning software such as Roxio, Nero on your PC? If you insert a blank DVD in the DVD drive, you should get a pop-up menu giving some options. Make a note of these and post it here.
Failing that, know please post the make and model of your PC.
