Hi
I'm hopeless when it comes to computers, in fact I detest them when I have to do something I'm not confident with ..... this is where you come in.
I have a DVD disc that I need to copy onto another disc for a friend. It's my only copy and I'm slightly concerned that I delete the contents of the one and only DVD I have.
Can someone please help with what to do in easy steps. I've tried googling it but it just makes me more confused.
Thank you
Ms C x

If you have a regular DVD player connected to your telly, does this DVD play on this player without any issues?0

How was the DVD+R created? In your PC? Your Camcorder? By someone else?0

By someone else. It is a copy of part of a TV broadcast that featured my daughter.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End

In that case, you have a 'finalised' DVD+R which you absolutely cannot erase. It's not a rewritable format, designed to be used again and again. It's a 'write once' disc. Write to it, then finalise it so that it can play on DVD players (just to check - you are playing it on a DVD PLAYER, not a RECORDER, aren't you?)0 -

In that case, the someone else has a DVD recorder.
You could take your DVD player to their house, connect it to their recorder, and run a copy as easily as that ......
Or if they already have two DVD machines, they could run a copy for you....0 -
I'm playing it on the DVD player from this system
