To be honest, I didn't know milk men still existed.

However I will advise from a legal perspective, as there has been a clear breach of contract here, the moment he steps on your property he is committing trespass. Although it is unlikely you could build a case around this alone, when we add the ongoing contractual breaches and the general 'contra bonos mores' acts I think a small claims court summons could be issued to the guilty party i.e. the milkman

What a load of cods-wallop. get a life moran

Rubbish he is invited on, he only commits trespass if he is not invited and or goes into your home

Op - if he's no good then get rid!

Years ago we used to have the co-op milkman, he was very good. Although it got to the stage when I was working full-time, the milk was being delivered after 9am, being left of the step all day and on scorching days that's no good.

Until a couple of years ago we had another milkman, he was good also, but had to stop it purely due to the cost! We were paying about £1.46 for a 2L bottle at the time, he used to charge about the same as Asda did for their 4 pint bottles (they were charging about £1.53 at the time). One day went he came for his money, he informed me that the prices had gone up and I wasn't too happy, he told me that he charges the same as Asda do. When I informed him that his bottles are only 2L, whereas Asda are 4 pint he kind of lost his tongue......

Recently they knocked our door trying to drum up business, although hubby answered and like an idiot let them go without asking how much they were charging now!

Our milkman was rubbish too. He was always late. For the price, sorry, but I'd expect better.

I would never use one again.
