I thought this was a great deal from Tesco mobile if your not too bothered about the latest handset and fairly low user of mins and data.

Its a 24 month contract with Tesco mobile for a mere £7.50 a month you get

250 voice mins
500 text messages
500 MB data
Black or Pink Samsung chat 335

Also you can cap the useage so you wont go over your mins, text and data if you like.

Which might be useful if you were getting this as a handset for a child.

This is what we got for our 12 year old daughter for Christmas as it is capped and she didn't need an expensive phone which probably would be pinched at school.

We have giff gaff sims for our own phones which have 250 min, unlimited texts & data for only £10 a month.

I've just got a £7.50 a month deal from mobiles.co.uk (with £30 cashback from topcashback) and some of the phones have money you can claim back in redemptions.

This (the tesco one) is a good deal for kids though, because I don't think you can cap the one I've gone for (it's with talkmobile). I've got an app called 'phoneusage' on my phone, so I check how much I've used if I'm getting close to the end of my billing cycle.

I'm about to get this in black. Can keep my current number, will get triple club card points, can cap the cost, and will save me £230 over the 24 months according to bill monitor. :-)

Also have just seen on the mobile thread that tesco mobile have UK call centres. Another little selling point for me.
