So with all the hype, all the controversy...who picked up one of sony's box of tricks yesterday then?
Also:
What are the games like?
What are the films like?
How does it compare to the Xbox 360 & the Wii?
At £425...do you really get a lot of kit for your cash, or is it a waste of money?
Your thoughts and comments are welcome.

I dont have one I want one but not at that price. I dont know why sony have built in blue ray. In my last ps2 i never used the dvd player becasue it was too much hassel to rather buy a control for it. I mean no one buys a cooker expicting it to be a fridge as well. Sony should just build a top rang game console not blue ray,usb,mp3, so on people buy a game console to play games if they want something to useing there mp3 manage there picture so on they buy a computer .Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I placed 2 pre-orders just in case I couldn't one and now I am going today to get my deposits back as I have heard reports that it is not as good as expected. I was in one games shop yesterday afternoon and someone was taking his new machine back as it was faulted. The assistant said they were expecting more back as there is a manufacturing fault.0

Just took a look at ebay, none appear to be going over £400 so no money to be made on this console.
Good one Sony on getting the stock in but I suppose the price has kept demand lower than Wii when it launched.I beep for Robins - Beep Beep
& Choo Choo for trains!!0 -

this is exactly not the best time for a launch of a new console. seriously what special occasion is there at this time coming up that involves giving presents.
anyways i do not think the ps3 is expensive its not that much more that the xbox 360 premium with an hd dvd thingy add on.
love those ebayers, one person if getting rid of 5 at a time lol0 -
