Hi,
Just a quick query if anyone can help.
I put in a claim for mis-sold ppi on my Halifax credit card. Ive yet to hear if its been successful however I've just checked my balance online and it states a premium refund, apr refund and a rebate all totaling £935.
However it still states that my account balance is NIL so where is this money? Will i get it in the form of a cheque or will it be credited to my credit card?
Im hoping I will receive a cheque as £900 is of no use to me on a credit card i hardly use.
Any help would be much appreciated

They put the redress to the card then take it off when they issue a cheque.0

Same here!! Your thread prompted me to check my BoS CC online and have seen a balance of £200 and £11000 refund :eek::eek:
This was applied on the 18th July and I have never received a letter. In meantime my new statement has been made and reflects the new balance, so I'm guessing mine will be staying on the card?0 -

A refund was issued to my card beginning of July so I rang them to be told they were still investigating as it was still only 6 weeks. I rang again today to be told they had sent a full and final letter on 18th offering 11K+ which I hadn't received. I accepted over the phone and they are sending me a cheque for the full amount even though there is a balance outstanding before the refund. I'm not in arrears which may be why they are sending me the full amount. Hope this helps. Good luck.0 -

Thanks for the reply. My complaint was only sent 6 weeks ago too. I have always had a high balance, but never been in arrears and always paid in time. I guess then it will still be under investigation. Will just have to sit tight.0 -

Hi Confused44 I would wait until your 8 weeks are up and if you haven't had a letter back then give them a call. Hope you hear from them soon.0
