At least yours stands out MoneySpider! Mine will probably be overlooked as just more of my usual drivel :D:p

I've just withdrawn £285 from Paypal :j from those few surveys, and Ebay over the last few weeks.
Had left it in there because I don't want it in the bank to spend as it's been saved up for when my new 0% balance transfer on a CC ends. Will transfer it to a spare bank account that will just be for that purpose, but it might as well sit in there and earn a few pence interest every month than sit in Paypal.
Makes all the Ebaying feel much more worth it as well when I withdraw it as a lump sum

Hi all, is birthday money cheating? If not got 40 pounds today! :)

    Happy Birthday :bdaycake:

I have added Birthday money before, but then i would bank it into the overdraft :( at the time i was so desperate to get the overdraft cleared.

Most challengers agree that ANY money / savings can be added if then use it a towards debt or put into savings.

I think its really up to you what you want to add :D

Thats really great news Beccie :T

Wow Monkeynut thats a nice chunk of cash and also along the lines of what ive decided to do. Instead of withdrawing from PP after each batch of sales im letting it build up into a more decent sized chunk :)

You should Aesop. I was surprised how easy it was, especially as it wasn't my details I was doing it for. They didn't even argue - within 4 weeks there was a cheque in the post - my Dad is 3K better off and I'm £400. :D:D:D all round!

Pushing him now to get the stuff together for the others so I can do those too :)

Still waiting for a buyer to pay on ebay but thought I would add the little I have received so far. £2.15 from Ebay and 60p from Donkeymail.

Will be re-listing again this weekend. Have just done a PC survey so that should be received soon. Am doing quite a few surveys but not a pay out levels yet.

I was expecting a call about selling some stuff to a shop that never materialised so it's back to the dreaded flea bay.

Thanks for the heads up about the free listing weekend. That is just the kick up the rear that I need. I will aim for 10 items listed, should really do more but I lose the will to live with it TBH.

Completed a couple of surveys for cash prizes (not the online ones) so hoping I will be one of the lucky winners;)

  • Another MS payment today, have got more due.

As an aside, if one does aMystery Shop, & you get say £10.00 towards a meal, do you count the £10.00 also, (because in effect the food is costing you nothing)?

It's the grocery challenge on the old style thread. You set yourself a target for the month/week/year on what you want to spend on food shopping. It's a great thread, loads of lovely recipes and tips. I have never hit my target but without it my spending is crazy!
