Well done everyone not only for all the big and little savings, but for managing to post so regularly.
I hope to get some time to catch up properly with my progress in the first week, certainly has made me be much more switched on when spending and gathering stuff to sell, and scouring for vouchers.
Find it quite a challenge at the moment though as I work full time, have 3 children am getting divorced (but still in same house together, not good!).
Fingers crossed for house sale to go through ASAP that's for sure.
Anyway, now got that off my chest some questions
Surveys, not having much luck - keep being told don't qualify any suggestions
Moving to a new place once the house sale goes through I need some basic things, Hoover, TV, etc - so was adding up the list & cost & prioritising when some friends came up trumps and gave me their second hand ones! Can I add those as savings?
Thanks0 -
Challenge for today is get my 3bay listings up to 50.. have 8 ending today some with watchers but no bids boohoo. Hope my job lots of peel offs do well, putting big lots of 30 on as the bigger bunches seem to have more interest, might have a sort through my other craft stuff when the baby goes to sleep. The 1% Challenge #76 - Debt 1 = £620 - 1% = £6.20 - 4.3%
Debt 2 = £1600- 1% = £16 - 0%
Debt 3 = £1012 - 1% = £10.12 0%
Pay all your debt by Xmas 2016 #130- £465.86/£7636.46 - 6.1 %

Smileymum - sounds like you most certainly have your hands full with a lot going on.
With regards to the savings on appliances etc, what I would do is if you've added things up and would have gad the money to buy the things, or would have had to find it from somewhere, then still put that money too good use, either off a debt if you have any, or into a separate account for use on something else you will need that would have otherwise struggled with. That way I would add the savings here!
Don't forget to check Freecycle / Facebook selling and give away groups etc for other bits you need too. Even if you can get something that's not all that good, it will be really helpful for the time being then you can just decide what to prioritise and replace or buy new.Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Having a so - so day - thought I had undercharged for postage for an Ebay parcel by 70p, but it was only 20p in the end so not as bad as it could have been....
Then also realised that I had forgotten to remove postage costs from my total bringing it down to £146.98...
The got credited £6 for a survey and got to redeem a £5 Amazon voucher....
If you're local to me (Yorkshire) then join Yorkshire panel they credit you £2 for each survey done - there is only one a month but for every three you do you get £6 bonus - works out at £40 a year and I think you can have love to shop vouchers or something instead of Amazon vouchers....
http://www.yorkshirepanel.co.uk/
other than being a member I'm nothing to do with them - and they do payout well...
Just tried to join but registration is closed as they have enough peopleThanks for letting us all know though
Just ordered another £5 ama*on voucher from SBs and a £20 voucher from W*o Hoo Bingo so not doing too badly so far.
I must get ebaying though. I am spending too much time on SB although the phone app is a good help.
Keep up the good work everyone.

I have nothing to add, still sorting through all the clutter in my room. I have 3 big bags and a box of old toys to sell off, boyfriend spent over £1000 on getting the qualifications he wants which will hopefully get him the job he wants... Just been so unmotivated money-making wise recently. I have nearly 400 survey invites sitting in my inbox :rotfl:
Hopefully I will get a job soon..0 -
Have been a bit sidetracked with family life but did find 2p today
I am preparing to list a load on Gum tree, so a few more days of prep then hopefully the money will start flowing.
Well done on your gains everyone!0 -
Woo hoo off the mark at last!
£450 on selling my watch.:D I wasn't planning on doing this when I started this challenge so it is a big chunk off my target.
DH found £10 in our old paypal account. We haven't been ebaying for over a year so it was a suprise there was anything in there but cobwebs.
DH has been giving a colleague a lift to work over the last couple of weeks and he will give DH a bit towards diesel so I will add that at the end of the month.
