I really hope so, as it seems they made such a difference and helped people find their way etc!

yes, some of the Olympic gamesmakers have volunteered to do the same for the Paralympics :).

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOU GOOD WISHES.

I was one of those Games Makers. I was located at the Royal Artillery Barracks and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I was an EVS Team Member so the Games Makers you saw, whether it was scanning your tickets, answering any queries throughout the venue or indeed showing you to your seats ..... that was me.

Memories I will never forgot and cherish forever. Would have loved to help out at the Paralympics as well - unfortunately not able to have the extra time off from work.
  • I passed a 7 stage selection process and attended all the training to be a volunteer games maker and then had to drop out. The friend who was going to put me up got ill and had to go for an operation that week. I tried to book a hotel but they were all either booked or I couldn't afford it for a week. So I had to drop out, I was gutted. It cost me a fortune to attend all those interviews and training sessions.
