So where does the good little moneysaver bit come into it i hear you ask? well, I went to morrisons, I picked up a bunch of flowers and put them back. I picked up 2 packets of qu*rn sausages, realised i didnt need 2 before friday when i next get paid so put one back, got into the hang of checking prices and going for the BOGOF's, realised that "Buy 3 for £2" sometimes isnt the best deal going, was i going to buy £3 anyway? or have i just cost myself another 75p by buying 3 when i didnt need 3?? :rotfl: Those who remember me previously will remember just how obsessive i was with shopping and prices and deals. I feel the old me awakening.. SH*****!!!!
So, how is everyone spending their day? come chat?:D
This is exactly what I do Merlin (Cannot for the life of me remember if I have met you, know you or just know lots of peeps who know you!)
This week I started a new job. Last week I bought a pair of glittery platform flip flops for £4. Got outside the door and thought 'I don't need these'. Took them straight back in for a refund and went and bought a pair of black work trousers for £12. Will probably be wearing them tomorrow.
I promise to kick your butt provided you do the same for me!

hiya Hon!! dont recognise the user name but always happy to make new acquaintances (and have new butts to kick!! :rotfl:) I was on the boards mainly between 2006 - 2010 however a few people put me off posting, one being a bit of a stalker and the other being a regular board user (no idea if still here or not!) Hence the motivation for returning under a different name also.
Love the story of the sandals, you good little money saver you! :T but beware.. put a foot wrong and i'll be at a kicking!!:D

Bloody hell! *looks around*
been a while since I have been on here. I really should get more into this money saving lark again...
Welcome back me love. As someone who frequently spends money on PT sessions I say go for it. As long as you have a goal in sight and its not just for, *' I can't be arsed to move meself around the gym therefore I need someone to tell me where to stand' (like me). Its called an investment in the future.

Agreed on the PT sessions......although, as you know, I have discovered a very moneysaving way of achieving said torture :rotfl:
Seriously, though, you've been running for years, so it is going to be very difficult to push yourself on your own, as you are used to your own ways of doing things.
Although I think you have moved on from the "right, ready for a run.......?" "yup, cup of tea first.......?" days of old:o:o
So, if paying £30 a time to make a significant improvement, one that is going to get you back into a career that you have been yearning for, ever since I have known you some *mumblemumblemumble* years ago, is required, then so be it.
It is an investment.....

Hypno has just received a text saying that she has made me cry.
For those new to these boards, Hypno and I met on here some *many* years ago whilst going through debt based financial crises. And in so doing I found in real life one of the best loved friends a woman could have. So if you are new, stick around, not only will MSE save you money but you will make enduring friendships both virtual and real that may well last you years.
Likewise with Sammy, and Elantan and Ellidee and duchy and goodness, many of the people that have posted on here already, found on the boards and friends that have stayed with me for years.
Anyway, enough of the soppy stuff! :rotfl:
Today I have gained 2 lovely shiney £2 coins to start off my collection with!!
I am also being paid £16.16 more than I thought on friday. £16 more towards the debt! yay!
And about the running... Hypno you are right. I think as you say I need to have it pointed out to me how I can make my running stronger, part of that would involve moving past the "lets have a cuppa and stay here a while" phase of oldGlad to have your support, unfortunately I am not in a position to get MSE personal training in the method that you are.... :rotfl:
Sammy, lovely to see you here. Not bumped into Bunny yet and does the daily chat thread still happen every day? Hope you are ding well chick. Get back into it! will be lovely to have some companyCurrent debt at 30/07/2012 19.479!! 06082012 19119 :T
