BDINI, I hope you get a better job soon. He sounds an awful man to work for. ((Hugs.))S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50

Bdini, can't believe your boss gets away with that. I guess your not the only one he treats like that. Fingers crossed you find sth better soon. Agree, small man syndrome
I think I reached my capacity of NSDs for this month10/15. Tomorrow I need to buy my lunch and then we're away on holiday where I guess I'll spend a bit every day here and there. Although it's holiday money it still counts. But I have great hopes for next month, as I tried a few strategies hhis month and make to most of next month as I want to save as much as possible, especially since it is only a 4 week nursery bill month which leave more to save (not to spend me hopes
. I'll pop back tomorrow but then disappear for while unless there's wifi.

Hi everyone
I wasn't going to post this evening as I haven't caught up with you all yet, sorry:o:o but I saw BDINI's post and had to say something:mad::mad::mad::mad:
BDINI - your "boss" is a complete !!!!! and he doesn't deserve to have you working for him. And as for calling you "mentally ill":mad::mad::mad: I think I'd have punched him and given him something to complain about:o:o Seriously, can you not report that to HR, that is just not acceptable under any circumstances.
The best thing to do with someone like that is ignore him and don't rise to the bait, that will really annoy him.. and you can just smile and walk away. Easy for me to say, I know, but you can get some satisfaction from having wound him up without saying anything.
Whatever, I hope you get out of there asap for your sake. Keeping my fingers and toes something comes up for you soon.
And rant away, anytime, we'll always listen.
Huge (((hugs)))

PS: if it gets really bad, just imagine him stark naked in the stocks in the middle of a very busy town
oops.... I've been censored:o

You need a wee tub/pot or similar for loose change for your SSD's BritAbroad.
Ha ha, yes, though here people don't actually use cash all that much. Nobody bats an eyelid if you hand over a card for a dollar purchase! On the rare occasions I do have change, I'm very good at using it at the self-service checkouts so it doesn't build up too much.
BDIN, your boss sounds horrible. I've been there so know what it's like. Keep a record of everything in case it all goes belly-up before you find another job.0 -
Good Morning
NSD #19 and 9-in-a-row yesterday
BDINI - If your boss thinks you have MH problems then can't you bop him on the end of his nose and plead insanity :rotfl:
Seriously, the man should be reported to his senior or above. Your mental health (regardless of how it it) has absolutely nothing to do with him and people should never be judged or victimised because of it. He is neither qualified or able to have a conversation about someones health and it has appalled me that he thinks he can. He probably sees you as some kind of threat and is trying to bully you and make you feel small and inferior.
There are employment laws that protect you from this kind of bullying in the work place not to mention moral codes :mad::mad:Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
You guys are amazing thank you!! I'm already less worried about going to work this morning after reading your posts!solventsoon wrote: »Hi everyone

The problem with taking any action at the moment is that he only does it during supervision, so right now it is my word against his if i report him, & i don't hold out much hope that i'd win
I am however going to be recording everything as you've advised, in the hope that i can get enough evidence to make it formal (if i can't get out of there sooner rather than later!), & i'm going to stop all the extra tasks, free overtime etc
Spoon's so right, i do just need to ignore him, but it's just sooooo hard!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -
bdini what outrageous behaviour from your boss, how dreadful. It sounds like he might have mental health issues if he thinks he can speak to his staff like that.Do you know if he treats any other employees like this?If a complaint about him comes from several people and not just one,it would be more difficult to ignore or disregard.
Could you record (tape) any conversations you have with him?
Huge hugs to you and I do hope that you find something else soon,so you don't have to put up with this pathetic idiot much longer.0 -

I wouldn't matter if it was on top of the Eiffel Tower or at the bottom of the Grand Canyon when he accuses you of having MH problems. The point is, he is not allowed to. Your personal life is just that and unless it is affecting your work then it is absolutely no business of his. If it ever happens again then you should tell him that if he has any concerns he should refer you to occ health (or whatever you have) and you will discuss it with someone who is qualified and not an arrogant opinionated twit!!!
And he certainly shouldn't be saying 'good' when you say you are looking for some thing else. He should be supporting you and talking through what is making you feel like you need to move on.
In our work place supervision notes are taken and signed off by both parties then stored electronically on our personal files and I always keep a hard copy in my own personal folder. You need to request a copy of those minutes, make sure everything is documented and keep it.
This has made me so mad :mad: Can you tell :rotfl:Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150
