I am amazed to find that I am up to 13NSDs.
One thing I will have to decide on is if it counts if DH spends instead of me as we have joint finances. On Sunday he went and bought sweets and wine and ice cream !!!

If I were you,I'd be tempted to count only your spends or nsds,as theoretically your husband could spend every day, meaning that you would never get any nsds.:eek::eek:

PS well done on getting 13!

    Good evening folks,

No NSD to report for today, as I had to buy a bulb for the kitchen! A horrible day weatherwise in NI today, as we had many spells of Thunder, Lightning and incredibly heavy rain!
Pips Mum, I hope you are well and taking it easy.
Freeby, can I please increase my target to 18NSDs?
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

Right rant time here, if you take my advice i wouldn't actually bother reading this post, i just need to get it out somewhere!

The naughty take away tonight is to soak up the 4 large gin's i drank as soon as i got in from work, precipitated by the awful chat i had with my boss, who for the second time has told me i am mentally ill (i'm not actually & the doc has confirmed this!)
He then told me that i should leave as he does not want me working for him & when i told him i was looking he said "good i'm glad":mad:

I wouldn't mind, but i have worked my butt off for him, doing loads of free overtime & loads of stuff well over the responsibilities of my role.

He is also a huge gossip & has told me loads of stuff about other staff in the past, which would have got him into trouble if i had said anything, but i have always thought it was best to keep my own counsel & just get on with my work.
He has a different favourite staff member every week, & then when he tires of you he does everything he can to cause trouble.
I really can't believe that in this day & age it can be this much like working in a school playground & i am just so frustrated by it all.

Anyway, tomorrow is another day, & i'm on leave for a couple of weeks soon, so i can't let this get to me. I have decided that the best way is just to not speak to anyone & get on with my job, but it is going to be hard, as i am a little bit of a chatterbox!!

Right rant over, i feel better for having got it out, thanks for listening!

Still not managed to get beyond 4 NSDs yet. Thought today was going to be one, but I got on the interweb and I've blown it :( It was only a small spend though. I've noticed that even if I've not achieved a NSD, I've achieved quite a few small spend days (SSDs) instead. So I guess that's progress in the right direction.
  • Think I've managed to creep up to 7 NSD been hard cos school summer hols seem to be expensive no matter what i do. L2B.x

You need a wee tub/pot or similar for loose change for your SSD's BritAbroad.
