    A few things to consider.

1 - Please do not employ a 'builder' to install. Whilst they may seem cheaper than a plumber 'building' is not a skill its an amalgam of experiences and generally no specific experience in any one direction. Use a plumber, tiler and electrician - period

2 - If you end up using bath store kit (shudders at thought) make sure whoever you use knows about installing bath store kit. Some of it only works with odd connectors etc so they need to price those into an equation. Bitter experience talking there.

3 - If you buy the suite then you take full responsibility for its warranty and fitness for purpose but you get it at a slight discount. What does that mean? If the plumber installs and connects your tap and it turns out to be faulty then you have to pay him to take it out, you go off and change it and then you pay him again to install it again. This is because he will have estimated to install once only - as he should. If the plumber supplies, then he takes responsibility for delivering the finished bathroom. That means if he has to take out a tap due to it being faulty then that's entirely down to him and covered in his costs. I recently had a batch of bad taps and ended up changing three on one basin! It cost me dear!

4 - Choose you plumber not on the basis of price but on the basis of whether you feel you can trust him to work with you to deliver what you want within budget. For what its worth, I'd delay buying any kit till you've engaged a plumber and then ask for advice based on you budget.

    Good luck.

OK firstly we have two bathrooms to install. One is our existing first-floor bathroom which is slightly bigger than 2m square. This one I am thinking of going for a bathstore install and getting them to fit it.

The second is for our new loft conversion - the final size is not yet determined, but this is where the corner bath will go, along with a small hand basin and a toilet. It will be fitted by the loft conversion company, who are used to fitting such rooms into small spaces.

ListysDad is correct & like i said if the room is too small a corner bath will look daft & as it is a loft conversion i'm guessing (not that i know as you could have an unvented cylinder) that you have a combi boiler & if you have the bath will take forever to fill.
I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.

We have a combi boiler. The water pressure on the 1st floor is good - not sure what it'll be like in the loft.

When looking for bathroom products always shop around the majority of online companies (Bathstore, Bath321, victoriaplum, bathrooms4all) all get their 'non' branded products from the same factories in China however they are made with slight differences square edges instead of round and they name them differently hence every single place offering a price match guarantee as you will never find the same product on a different website.
It will save you a lot of money to shop around and then bring in your own fitter. We just installed a brand new bathroom with wetroom and used products from about 5 different companies saved us a bomb and it looks great!
If you are worried about quality of product almost all offer a replacement as when making any ceramics for example if you make 10, 9 will be good quality, 1 will be poor yet the companies still need to sell that poor product. Obvs this ratio differs between products.
Have a look at bathrooms4all.com/baths/ they had some really nice products but each to their own.
    Peace out
