Wasn't trying to have one actually and you are right to flag it up in reality. The only thing is that I am not a charity even if I'd like to be for the benefit of my fellow man. Most reasonable people will help someone out thats clearly in difficulty. What sticks in my craw are the people who claim they don't have the ability to pay for the "luxury" of a half decent bathroom (I'm not talking the gold plated stuff here) but still sit there with the 50" 3D telly, the designer clothing and smoking 40 fags a day and expect me to do some work for them for a pittance.

    Yes no problem.

I don't regarding domestic bills and am moderately offended (:D) that you think I do but many customers do forget or don't understand about the cost of running a business. They see a charge of "x" for a fortnights work, think well his domestic bills are probably "y" like mine so x - y is just being trousered and thats being greedy. It ain't like that and you know that as well as I do. Its touch! BTW.

    Cheers

Understood and no offence intended, but we sit opposite sides of the fence, and are bound to "differ", :T;)

Where are you onlyroz because the price will also depend on where you live. 5k in London is probably a decent price whereas it could be cheaper in for example Lancashire.
I am in the south-east, but outside London.

Anybody know where we could get a really big corner bath from? All the ones I've seen from Bathstore etc seem tiny. I've stayed in hotels with really huge jacuzzi-like baths, and would love one, but have no idea where to go.

Didn't you say your bathroom is 2mx2m? That doesn't seem compatible with a huge corner bath.

I am doing a bathroom of very similar dimensions and am struggling to squeeze in even a shower-bath ie an L shaped one...

lovely but they don't look like 4m2 bathrooms.....
  • you could ask if Bathstore can just supply the Bathroom suite you picked, then you could use someone recommended to install it if you re unsure about their quality ? or you could ask for some addresses where they have recently fit a suite and have a look at the quality?

I've found this one, which looks good and is much cheaper:

i must admit i'm with robatwork on this one, you said your bathroom is only 2m x 2m if that is right there is no way you will fit a 1520mm corner bath in there with a basin & wc (& if i'm being honest even if you did somehow manage to squeeze it all in the bath would take up so much room that it would look stupid which is not what you want, you want a lovely looking bathroom), i haven't fitted a corner bath for years most people want them ripped out for two reasons, one they use so much water to fill (much more than an ordinary bath), two the internal lenght (the bit you lie in) is much smaller than a normal bath, the last link you posted is described as two person is that two children because with only one person in there you would not be able to lie flat, try one go into bathstore or wherever & get into one & see how short they are & i think you may change your mind, normal baths can come with whirlpool effects as well, just one further thing if you go for the one with the air jets in the bottom these will cool the water in your bath pretty quickly just something else to think about.
I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.
