scammed by a 1256 Ebayer with 100% feedback

..............yes you might think this is crazy, I would myself !
Sold an item on ebay and when I seen their feedback had absolutely no worries at all. Sent the parcel and got proof of postage (didnt send recorded which yes I should have).
Bout 3 days later gets a nice message advising me parcel hadnt arrived so I said leave it a couple more days as it was still early days. Something just told me to check their feedback again, which i did and was amazed at feedback they had left for other people. In 2 years they have had 50 plus items not recieved, anything lower value for just a few quid arrives safely, £30ish upwards never arrives. so when I see this I knew a case would be opened, which it has for item not received.
so this person is going to get a refund and m 99.9% sure they will have received the parcel.
so basically I just wanted to warn other people. Dont assume that if someone has high feedback score everything is ok

it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -

Proof of postage is not proof of delivery.
Will result in Royal Mail lost parcel claim. RM lose out here0 -
Its about time these eBay INR scammers are named & shamed0

Was this person leaving negative feedback to their victims?
I wonder if Royal Mail keep receiving claims for non-delivery of Ebay items at one address, Royal Mail would also report this to Ebay.0 -
It is very rare for a scammer to leave feedback mentioning that they had not got their items, a scammer needs to stay under the radar so reading the first post seems to suggest someone with an address issue.
My colleague had one recently who moaned that she, along with many other people had addressed his parcel wrongly and it was late- turned out his paypal postcode was wrong.
My mother had a phone delivered yesterday (OK it was by Yodel so we now how bad they are) but she hasn't got it, but luckily Tesco believed her and say they will get another one for her on Monday, obviously though that means she is a scammer and should be 'outed' on a public forum.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You'd be surprised, I've caught two whose feedback was a clear indicator, won't go into how but it can be clear as day.
If I suspect something isn't right with the buyer (there are ways to tell based on experience) I check with their other sellers. It's surprising how many have had many other claims but when you ask if they've had issues with their post apparently yours is the only missing parcel....
If you kept buying stuff and it didn't turn up would you just keep blindly shopping or would you complain to the DO or ask for a more secure delivery service?
Even if a genuine issue I don't think it's fair to keep shopping online when you've had 50 parcels go missing...
One customer claimed INR and just kept repeating 'not arrived', they'd claimed with 9 other sellers and I had to ask several times for them to confirm the address, when they finally did it was wrong. They must have known after 9 previous claims that their address was an issue but would rather keep quiet and claim, not good in my view.In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -

They won't report to eBay but do look at feedback and might refuse the claim, however if you have reason to suspect the buyer's claim is false you shouldn't be claiming compensation from RM anyway. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0
