    Gumtree and local facebook groups are great free starts. Then either ebay or autotrader.

    thanks for all the help and advice guys.

    Listed on gumtree and already had 3 inquiries and one guy coming tomorrow. Will see how it goes and may go with autotrader.

    the ford cougar forum sadly needs a min of 30day membership before advertising and pistonheads now charge

    That's a bugar, best option for a genuine car, but only IMHO, :D:D:D:D

    Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

    I actually bought a previous car from there and found it good... I know a fair few have not heard of it so for the same price I may go with AT... although i am giving it another 24hrs on gumtree

  • ive sold 3 cars on ebay over the last few years. I advertised them all honestly, pointed out all the faults that I was aware of. used the classified ad option as its cheaper to do that then use auto trader. All the cars I advertised sold within a week.

    Well I sold my car last night on gumtree, had about 6-7 people interested and the first buyer bought.
