Same here. I liked the talking bit, but the shakes and soups used to make me retch. I ended up living on muffins made from the chocolate shakes - and they were still minging! And paying £66 a week for the privilege lol

I love Fern. I've noticed her weight loss lately too: she looks prettier by the day. I'd be rather shocked if she'd done that LL diet. I know someone who did that: lost an obscene amount of weight, and now, whilst being very slim, looks.. kinda.. 'baggy'.... not good..

Phil's great too! Both of them. I love Philip Schofield!

    :)

I watch Fern most days, and although she doesn't refer to her recent weight loss very much, when it's been mentioned by guests she's admitted to having taken on a fitness regime, prompted by 2 charity cycle trips. She's apparently grown to love the fitness, and advocates pilates too.

I'd doubt very much if she'd have done the Lighter Life diet, and I've heard no mention of that before, although it's well known that Colleen Nolan has been on it (twice!). My best mate did Lighter Life last year, lost 5 stone and looked great - for 2 months. Since then she's gained half a stone a month, and is now gained it all back again in less than a year. She now has a counsellor who is trying to get her to deal with her obsessive eating dissorder, and to try to stop her bingeing and fasting.

I think Fern looks fab, and her health must be vastly improved as a result of the exercise and weight loss. She's an inspiration to all larger ladies of a certain age, for sure!

    *agrees with sarymclary*

The lady I know who did LL lost about 8 stone I think. I haven't had chance to chat to her for a while, but the last time we spoke she was adamant about the psychology of it and not putting it back on.. she's kept it off for a while now, though certainly less than six months.. hope she keeps it off. Must be so demoralising to lose it then gain it again!

Pilates... hmm... I told my OH that I wanted a Pilates DVD for Christmas.. he left everything till yesterday then rushed out with a little scribbled list of 'suggestions' :D and did his Christmas shopping in about two hours (wish I could do that!). Later 'Pirates of the Carribean' came up in conversation and he said that's what was on my list... I got both the Pirates DVDs we haven't got.. so I'm hoping he was teasing....

Anyway, sorry, going off on a tangent, like I do. No, Fern hasn't lost an obscene amount, but four stone's pretty impressive! I don't believe she's done LL as from what I've heard about that, she'd have lost it quicker wouldn't she..?

I saw 'This Morning' recently and they were outside on the roof terrace or whatever, testing some Christmas fare of some sort. They had 'old man' coats on and Fern had a kind of round fluffy hat on. Phil (Schofield) started giggling and said to her, "You're so skinny now, you look like a match." Lol!
