I have to say I have never heard of a free wireless adaptor as a BT offer. But I dont see every BT offer, though this is one I would have been made aware of.

Was it a third party offer?

I had a free wireless adaptor on my PC but this was because the BT Vision engineer (excellent service from him) needed to put the HomeHub near the TV downstairs and I had wired the router to my PC which was upstairs.
  • Anyone know if the homehub is required for BT vision or does BT vision work with other modems?

the wireless adaptor could ONLY be redeemed using the provided links, if you didnt use them correctly its out of our hands as we cannot over-ride the system i am afraid (I checked). :)

Vision does require the home hub yes.

I used the link from the BT site which had a picture of the adaptor, advertising it as a free offer, with a link which I used. There were 2 links on the page, both of which sent me back to the main site with the 3 different options.

    You must have misclicked dude.

I will ahve a search tomorrow to see if any other departments can help, but dont hold your breath as the x box offer has changed to a subscription to xbox live gold (or some such).

I tried the link many times before joining to make sure, and I also checked it tuesday - they always linked back to broadband main page.
Thanks for taking the time to answer by the way and for being a million times more pleasant than the broadband operator!!!
