why can,t i open my pictures

hi all

Got a couple of albums on my computer. When I put the cursor onto the pictures for me to open up it just won,t. Is there any settings that need to be adjusted for me to do this.

Really need to get into them so I can forward onto my neice.

    Could be you're out of memory,I've had that a couple times where the image doesn't show up.
    Have you tried Picassa viewer?..

    I wonder of the files are zipped ? The OP has not come back with anymore information :(

    thanks for the replies. never heard of picassa viewer. ???

    i have also tried, right click and open.

    We have only had the laptop 2 months and hardly any data on here

    HELP!!!!

    So what program do you normally use to open your pictures?
    Try opening the program and then browse to the pics using File>Open.
    Out of memory means out of RAM, not out of disk space-neither is likely on a brand new laptop.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
