    Yes there is a risk of that as I indicated, but it can be done. Just hope the OP's oh has the right bit and doesn't attack it with the B&D hammer drill:eek::eek:

    No! Why are you fixated by 10mm fittings for your pipe connections? Irrespective of whether the ceramic is going to take a hit (which is a diffrent thread really) you need half inch by 15mm to connect the tails supplied to 15mm pipework. Fin!

    Sorry - I was just using those as an example of a reducer with an integrated isolation valve, I didn't mean those exact ones with those exact measurements.
