Unfortunately, not being a regular church goer, I decided to watch this item instead - will give me something to do on Sunday!

I do feel that the seller needs to actually look at his listing again though as this , whilst amusing, is likely to end badly.

He states "IM LISTING AS USED BUT I DON'T THINK THIS SHELL HAS EVER BEEN USED."

but then says "THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAS DRILLED 2 TINY HOLES JUST ABOVE THE DOOR " and this " THERE IS NO DAMAGE OR REPAIRS WHAT SO EVER " which doesn't tie in at all with no damage and not used

He is also intenidng to post this £120 item by standard 1st class mail, so massively uninsured and with no tracking.

EDIT: worth noting the stars though, it is a long time since I have seen 5* across the board like that.

He's active on Seller Central, so someone could ask. I don't want to as I only have my "real" ebay account, I don't have one that I would risk posting in forums with.

The gist of the thread was he got drunk and did it - so not your average eBay idiot or clueless timewaster.

He was crucified on the board a while ago by a few regulars for being 5.0 across the board. I think he wound them up a bit, but I thought the whole exchange reflected worse on the regs than on him.

And if you are in a small/niche market, buying from someone who buys from you might not be all that uncommon. I've certainly bought from someone on the boards who has bought from me - not on the same ID, as it happens, but it could have happened if I had not separated out buying and selling IDs a while back.

Not to say it isn't comic out of context, but in context, it's not quite what it seems.

    ms.
I think that makes it worse then. Any user who drinks too excess and still logs in to buy or sell should be more careful, if he cannot take his drink then he should lock his pc away from harm until he sobers up.

Also, if he is a regular why on earth is he sending item un insured with no tracking, that would be forgivable for a newbie, but not for someone with more experience.
