This has to be seen to be believed- head on at 80mph+ and goes straight through the dear.

OP- If you hit another Gull remember to engage reverse to make sure you have finished the vermin off.

I find that flashing the headlights is a bit more effective at shifting birds (of the feathered variety) out of the road. That's about all I'd have done differently to the OP.
