It says free!
But you pay a 50 quid engineer charge!
Sound steep but, £50 for a box like this...
NICE!:A:jLibertas Supra Omnia:j:A0 -
Ordered
Thanks Dex
You could have posted this earlier though...If I have Offended you. Thats Great :j
If I have Offended your Religion, Race, Sex, Country, Hair Cut and your taste in Biscuits.
Now Thats Bargain:T0 -
How is it free if you have to pay £14.50 a month for the plus package for a minimum of 18 months and the £50 engineer fee totals £260, before I get called for slating the offer I'm a talktalk customer.Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0
-
Yes watch out for this bit ..
"As a Plus Phone and Broadband customer.....18 month minimum period"
And as to the box itself, i'm not sure it sounds that impressive, not much more than is available on smartTV's, PS3, XBOX, smart blu-ray players etc. No HD & the viewing of last 7 days programmes seems to be just what is available from (and then jumps to) the BBC/ITV/4od/5 players.. so probably not all programmes.
Better Freesat HD boxes retail around the £170-£200 mark, so £50 is good on its own, but then there is no tie in period with freesat...0 -
I am also talk talk customer and cannot work out what plus would offer me other than opportunity to get "free" box so also giving a miss for now.0
-
The price of these boxes will come a-tumbling down when there's more competition in the market. This is a Tesco-esque marketing exercise imo.0

The Humax DTR T1000 is a very good box, if you can afford one you won't be dissapointed.
Can't see why Talk Talk want £50 to 'install' the box, its a ten minute job easy peasy. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
If your already on the higher tarriff,
the ad says its free (Which is wrong as you have to give 50)
These boxes normally cost alot more.
I tried to get a trial one.:A:jLibertas Supra Omnia:j:A0 -
Indeed, a £299 Freeview HD PVR with a 500Mb HDD + Internet is a top of the range price. But Humax do built very nice boxes. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

Am I entitled to the box as im with AOL part of Talk Talk?0
