LW: Thanks for the concern about my delicate little mouth (moosh indeed!) I can now open it again which means I can talk again - groans all round from those who have to listen - also can shove larger morsels of food in YAY.

Halight: I have a friend who has been on benefits for 3 years now. He's a professional man who had the humiliation of 'learning' how to be interviewed and also had to do a literacy and numeracy test at one point. He finished it in 5 minutes flat. He has to keep on going on stupid courses and interviews, all of which cost the taxpayer money in supplying fares etc. I really don't envy you. Unfortunately these days everything is geared to dealing with scroungers and cheats so honest claimants are made to jump through all these hoops.
    Chin up.

((((Judi))) and to anyone else I missed

Fab day in work :D took kids to the local fire station. I've been quite a few times now so know the day inside out, but this time cos it was so hot out they didn't get the kids into the fire uniforms so we were limited in what we could do. But they gave us a tour of the engines, a spin round the block in one, watched a dvd, then after lunch we went out into the field and put up couple of tents and my kids posed for photos that they will use to warn people about the dangers of putting BBQs inside tents! Then at the end we got to play with the hoses, and they put the fan hose on and we all ran through it! Got absolutely soaked but had a right laugh (see FB for photo!) :D

Finished work early due to being soaked, clothes in WM now! I need to fill out an application form tonight for a job in the college. I love my current job, but it doesn't hurt to look around.

OS wise - WM on, dishes to wash, quick tidy, freezer meal for tea

    Have a good day all

    Evening all
Busy day today, hubby pottered in the garden & I've done some washing, we then visited DD1 & the foster children & dropped off veg from the garden. Then we went for a wander round a garden center, hubby got a phone call from work, can he work Saturday & Sunday. Hubby took me to a pub for lunch, then we came home & DD2 popped in, hubby & the kids had a water fight, DD & I had a natter, I've offered to have DGD2 for the day on Saturday, 9 til 9, we'll have a lovely day as she no longer screams when she sees me & she loves her step-grandpa.
Nice to see you Halight, hugs to Molly, Wuvvies, Judi &PP.
I've decided to look into a career change, if I'm not too old!

    Bitsy enjoy your hols

Been shopping in Manchester today with my SIL. My brother is working away at the moment and I felt she needed some cheering up so had a nice day, got some bargain shorts in Primani for Australia and had a lovely lunch. Also got a Christmas present for my box
It was so hot and sticky and humid, really feels like we need rain to freshen things up.
I am all shopped out and really need to make something to eat but can't drag myself off the couch at the moment.
Off to put the kettle on. Have a good evening x
