Morning all, new(ish) to the thread.
I am going to work this morning and have a meeting with my son's speech and language therapist this afternoon and a friend coming for dinner and overnight. Having a bit of a rough time at the mo, so the aim is to keep busy so that the panic attacks don't get a chance to set in.
In between the above I need to clean the bathroom, do some prep for dinner (leek and gruyere quiche) and will hopefully get the chance to do more in the garden or even a nap (really bad night last night). There will be phone calls and emails to deal with as well around my son's situation (in short he's disabled and his adult placement has broken down).
The good weather and support I get from my friends and family is really helping get through what is probably the toughest patch of my life so far.

    Morning Redruby and all,

well i had the best nights sleep ive had for ages, even the pampered pooches didnt wake me up. It might have had something to do with leaving the air con on on the bedroom all night though. Sod the electricity bill, it will be on all weekend anyway when hubby comes home tomorrow night. It works out at 9p an hour (i'm pretty anal about costings).

Shant be doing too much in this heat. I watered the plants earlier when it was cooler. Washing all done and i'll vacuum when it gets cooler too. Not sure what i'll be doing for tea but it will probably be southern fried chicken, salad and potato wedges.

Had bad news about my oldest sons health last night. I dont know, his older sister didnt have a chance of life when she was born and my son is throwing his away.

On top of that, i want to live by the sea.:(

Hope you who are going on holiday have a wonderful time and for those of us who are stuck at home..... bahhhh!

Tru I guess it's a good sign if Daisy is getting more awkward to deal with; hopefully she's feeling more like her little chickeny self again.:o

Wuvvies OMG – (((very gentle hug))) GWS, mate.:o

Nlj1520 sounds like life's dealing you a lot of lemons – lots of posi-vibes for you. The quiche sounds really nice, btw. I shall be making one this evening, ready for tomorrow's dins – tomato, onion, Quorn and ale-and-mustard cheese.;)

Judi sounds like you could use a (((HUG))) mate.:o

Going to take it a bit steady today - my back and shoulder are complaining big-time about the little bit of work I did in the back garden yesterday. I need to cook sausages for tonight's sausage salad, and give the bedroom a clean (using my Flylady list;)) and there's a gazillion other things that want doing if I look around, as well as taking care of Ted (latest nickname Teddy-Weddy-Wombat):rotfl:

Phew! It's cooler indoors so today I'm concentrating on the church magazine and not setting foot outside if I can avoid it.

Enough salad etc left from yesterday so nothing needs to be done about food today. I'm definitely going to try eating the NoS way. it seems very doable.

Wuvvies: OUCH! What a dreadful thing to happen, and I bet you are right handed too. Knitting needles are good for having a scratch. It's the little things that get to you like trying to cut up your food and cleaning your teeth with the wrong hand. Lots of loving thoughts coming your way.

judi: Living by the sea is gorgeous and it means that you can enjoy it when all the holiday makers have gone home. I only really walk by the sea in early morning, late evening and in the winter months.
You might make it if you are determined enough. I did.

Back to work slaving over a hot computer.

I agree - seaside living is fab when the grockles have all gone home! I find I have to come home from work via the sea at least once a week if we haven't been down for a walk between the 3 piers.

    Thanks:j:j

Not long got back. i already feel like hitting my head ageist a brick :think:wall

I don't think I'm going to get any JSA. Iv put the claim in but because my wife works part time I don't think we will get any. It goes on how much she earns.

I lost my Job in Jan 2009. I put a claim in then and i claimed on how much N.I i had paid. My wife was still on leave with the babies at the time. Anyway I claimed my JSA Then no trouble.

This time my wife is back at work so i have to claim income based JSA.
Anyway I not holding out much hope.

Iv got sign on Monday Morning. Also on Monday morning Im booked in on a coarse at the Job center. All new claimants now have to do this group lesson. It only takes half an hour I'm told, Anyway In the half hour ,as a group (be about 15 of us I'm told) We will learn about how to look for a Job.:rotfl::rotfl: I did ask the lady if she was Joking with me. (we had a few little jokes before) She said no. She said that everyone know had to go and learn how to look for a Job. She did say that i would be surprised at the amount of people who did not know how to go about Job hunting in the right way. She also told me that some peoples idea of Job hunting was looking at the computers In the Job center for Five mins once every two weeks before they signed On and that was it. There sum of looking for work.

Iv also got to Go to the Job center on Thursday next week. This is an interview thing about how they can help me best to get me back into work. I don't mind going to this. After all I am a bit of a problem case with my health and that.

So iv just got to wait now to find out if we will get any JSA money from them.
