He could be doing his listings in advance and paying the extra ebay fee to be able to select day and time for the listing to become live. I use this feature quite often myself.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I never thought about that to be honest, good point.
Although he did contact me the day after I paid and I replied more or less straight away. I'm happy to give him the benefit of the doubt now though and will leave positive feedback once the payment stuff gets sorted.
7 days for delivery is hardly a big deal, it was just the lack of communication and low feedback that had me worried,0
