Where to get tyres and what kind?
Options
Hi
I need 2 new tyres for my vauxhall corsa (58 reg). I used to take the other car to Costco for convenience and their price wasn't too bad but today ive been and they said tyres will be £91 each - yikes!
I have no idea what type of tyre to go for, safety is main priority but I also want the best deal.
Who should I go to, any ideas what to get?
Thank you very much in advance!

Kwick Fit might not be the cheapest but I have never felt ripped off.safety is main priority
So try the local papers for advice , no point traveling miles , a cheap tyre is a cheap tyre.0 -
You have a corsa , not an Aston Martin the cheapest tyre offered will do the job , will be legal, AND safe

In an Aston traveling at high speed would want the best / most expensive tyres I could get , but if it was an Aston , money would never be a worry.I own a high speed BMW , the tyres on that are expensive , but I also pay for the tyres on my daughters 1.3 Fiesta , they are obtained from Kwickfit and are from there budget range . I have no worries about my daughter.0 -

There's any number of high quality tyres for under £50 each at Camskills, (www.camskill.co.uk ) the company I personally use and have done for some years.
The downside of ordering from them is that you have to arrange for fitting separately, which is usually around £10 per tyre. Most garages can and will do this for you.
If you feel that is too much hassle, as has been suggested, blackcircles.com aren't too bad. They seem to have Falkens in your size, fully fitted for under £60 each. They should be do the job..0 -
