SkylineBoy you need to always keep your balances to less than 60% of the cards max ideally, and pay off as much each month as you can.
Give it six months and apply for another card (Someone like Mbna) but dont worry if you get turned down. Just keep your halifax card in good order, and try again in another 6 months.

thanks... will try getting a card later.. even though i want one for places that dont take the debit cards..
didnt know u could haggle on rates though... although i would haggle on stuff like mobile phone bills and price check nearly everything i buy...0
