Hi,
I sold an Argos gift voucher on Monday but the buyer still hasn't paid. I was wondering how long I should wait before sending a gentle reminder? The buyer actually bid more than the voucher is worth (it's a £10 voucher and they bid £11) but looking at their other completed sales they have done this before. Also, someone has left them neutral feedback stating that payment time was the issue.
I don't want to look like I am hassling the buyer but I don't want to wait weeks for them to pay either.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks
Jenna

It's now friday - I'd send them a polite reminder

I send a reminder invoice after 5 days. You can open a dispute once 7 days have passed although I usually wait 10 to 14

Send a reminder today asking when they intend paying. If you don't receive a reply then send another mid to late on Saturday pointing out the lack of response and they've got until midnight Sunday to pay otherwise the deal's off and you're relisting.

I would just extend what Snooze Control suggests by a day.
Gentle reminder, followed by a sterner reminder over weekend followed by non payer dispute proabaly Monday pm/evening.
Don't sweat this if they are going to pay they will contact you, but if not the number of emails you send will have no effect. Just set the wheels in motion on Monday0 -
Thanks for the advice. I sent this message:
Hi,
Just a reminder that the above item is still unpaid. I prefer paypal but if you would like to pay by another method, just let me know and I will sort something out with you.
Thanks,
Will leave it at that for now and see if he replies (or even better, if he pays lol)
Thanks again
