Breakfast and then a day of drawing. Woo hoo! !!! (Can hardly wait!)

Had a good break at home culminating at my friends house with a game of names in a hat. It does what it says on the hat!!!
10 names in each, paired up and describe the people to your pair in a minute. Comedy gold.

    My friend is describing to me;

The white things in your mouth

    Teeth
    In the singular
    T

    *

She reckons we lost the game at that point because I was laughing so much there was wine coming down my nose!

So now down at the library looking at the house insurance in a mo (Don't distract me okay!) and then going to buy an extra oil filled radiator (don't tell the landlady!) and a pencil.

THEN I should be able to get down to drawing provided nobody else distracts me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Right.....the house insurance....

House insurance £63 per year on a house with a rebuild cost of £110k. That seems very good.

Is that with or without cashback?

    Without.

Landlady has popped round ( this woman has never understood the principal of quiet enjoyment). Everyone is hiding their heaters!! If she looks in the recycling she'll find the packaging for my second one bought today.:whistle::whistle::whistle:

So encouraged by Skinty I have put together my aims for 2014....

    1. Stay within budget
    2. Have a dry January
    3. Update CV and Linked in profile
    4. Ask for a pay review
    5. Clear two biggest credit cards
    6. Buy a house
    7. Try out new social events for 6 months
    8. Pass level 2 sign language

Hopefully the pay review (or alternatively change of job) and invigorated social
life will help decide where I want to be. Viewed my first house today.

    Happy New Year all.

    B x

    So how did I do?
    Pretty good on budget.
Dry January :rotfl: I tried, more like Dry Fortnight!
CV and pay review NO. Muttering and working hard worked better for promotion.
Two credit cards cleared, nearly three! :T:T:T
    Buy a house - nearly :
Social events and sign language, let's skirt over that.

So Skinty what are you putting down for 2015?

    I think I'll go for health and wealth aims;
    1. Complete house purchase
    2. Complete building course
    3. Clear all credit cards
    4. Reduce mortgage to under £88k
    5. Learn to swim strokes other than breast stroke
    6. Train for a 10 k run.

    I think that will do!
