Over mobility? I wish. *and we're off into a dream sequence*
Actually no...many times it involves pregnancy... :eek:My seat at work is not bad.
So which parts of it prevent it from being "fantastic"?I am amazingly inflexible, my friend who tried to push my feet over my head commented on it.
TMI ALERT!
And we don't need to know about how stiff he was either.Boss at work has pointed me in the direction of a pilates instructor who specifically has a class for people with bad backs! They are very nice at work.

Tis always interesting getting home...and seeing what madness exists.
This time...no functioning smoke alarms in the house. Better go and buy a battery. TBF to mad lodger the one outside her room fitted by the fire service can't be opened and is in the garage...STILL BLEEPING:rotfl:Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

The ones I had fitted by the fire service all are supposed to last 10 years and then you throw them away. They all failed within 18 months with a sad intermittent bleep... All you do is phone up the company and give them the serial number and they send you another one for free.
New ones are 6 months in and still working. Old ones in the porch, still bleeping0 -

As opposed to having your tongue hanging out, and drooling?A week before my sign language exam I am signing pretty much everything. The sign for exam looks like an invitation to an S&M party!:D
Well that's what happens when you don't specify the examination that will be taking place..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

What is the news for me?
1. I need to be on here more often
2. I need to have better control of my budget (although that hasn't been helped by my gas/electric supplier doubling the amount they are taking [just about] and taking it a day early AND my lodger [yes her again]) paying two months gas/electric four days after she said she would. Someone said about an APP for keeping an eye on my budget - want to remind me what that is.
Went over my overdraft limit this week due to the above, far too much shopping in Northern Ireland (although given events this week maybe it was a good job I overspent cos fewer people are spending this week. Really sad for Belfast...such a lovely city). I recommend a long weekend next Spring. Go and see the Titanic Experience, take a trip round on an open topped bus and if you've got time go and see the Giant's Causeway. Even better...don't rush yourself...have a Guinness and visit the Giants Causeway in relaxed fashion.
3. I need to turn back time and cancel Christmas...yes...I need to turn back time and cancel Christmas (thought that might wake you up!) Where's that emoticon for a lead balloon going down when you need it. My target for March is 17 houses refurbished and so far this year I have done 1 and have 8 in the pipeline with my fingers and toes crossed.
No, seriously, if I can't get a grip on the budget now what happens in Feb/March when t**t of a lodger leaves and I have less money coming in than going out:(.
Well I guess we just do a budget and plod on. If I can actually meet the first payment of my Career Development Loan this month :T:T:T:T:T I might get a set of green lights across my credit report making me look a slightly better bet for a 0% credit card. Without one next year looks like a serious nightmare!
Better go...got the top edge of a wall to paint and a budget to sort.

p.s. Passed my sign language exam AND won the pub quiz on the same night, which does mean a free round of drinks next week!
p.p.s. The bank is charging me £25 for going over but not £25 for each instance of being over (what they used to do!) so maybe they did learn something from the bank charges disaster. Apart from having to pay me £1600!Debt LBM (08/09) £11,641. DEBT FREE APRIL 2021.

I wish they were paying me £1600. Unfortunately it's past tense from about 3 years ago. Honestly I feel sick at the moment. Car needs a service, going to have to start producing money out of hats to cover it. If it's this tight now what is it going to be like when Nightmare lodger leaves? or when the sump goes.
Going to argue for my salary next month as I approach six months in the job. If (!!!) I pass my probationary period and I am doing a competent job and we look like we are going to hit the targets shouldn't they be paying me my salary rather than my salary less a competency tax. They are a good company with a line in their vision statements about 'respecting' their staff but their renumeration policy really really sucks. GRRRRRRRR.
I am stressed and praying for a miracle.
Need to find out when that lodger leaves so I can work out when we can advertise.
