    :rotfl:Just debating the 'sport'. Xbelderan Elantan has me down for a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG distance walk next year so I think I need to increase my mileage on that AND do some pilates. I have crap posture and not very good core muscle strength (and judging by yesterday, the ability to attract wasps!)

    As for cider drinking...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:purlease!

    Do you all believe in ghosts? Told the landlady I was moving out on Sunday. I now appear to be invisible!

    That's not an ability that is in much demand.

    I'm sure the pedant in you is wondering how you manage that. Surely you have to disappear to be invisible... ;) :rotfl:

    Tis quite interesting at the mo TBH Mr Zed. She spoke to me last night, wondered if I was moving out because her daughter had moved in.

    I said 'No, you're daughter is quite nice, as is your grand daughter'. It's only later I thought that wasn't very discreet 'There an elephant in the room and it's absolutely huge'.

    In other news the instalments for the Sign Language course do not appear at the start of the next two terms, they appear in November and December. Not sure what to do about that other than find out where the red light areas are in the local area.

    Job is still going well and still interesting and still occasionally terrifying:eek:. Today I was to have a stress course. That has been cancelled. In its place I have housing scenario's to value, something I last did in about 1989. In my head I'm going :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:. To my boss I said 'Sure'. He will be checking them, thank god!

    Right off to print out my bank statements and check against the first few days of the new budget.

    Not sure if that is going to help your sign language. :p Though undoubtedly you will learn new gestures... ;)

    Going to ring the college next week (may have to be the following week to miss half term!) to see if they will take installments at the start of each term. Don't know whether that will ease things but may help me feel marginally more in control!

    I was just wondering (and I have no way of knowing the fitness levels of my readership...whether you are :j:j:j like this or more like this :beer::beer:?) if you exercise how do you keep the costs down. I will be going for either a run tomorrow or a cycle in the local area (probably not both:rotfl:) but I would like to combine it with socialising. Most of the classes are about £5-6 and I have a budget of £6!

    Do you do it and if so how?

    By the way if you think C4's Stand Up for Cancer was a particularly poor offering have a look at Jacob Rees Mogg on Friday's Newsnight defending Andrew Mitchell. It's like a comedy classic!

    I don't keep the cost down but I can currently afford it so not worried! I think running clubs are quite cheap and a good way to socialise too - just clash with my childcare duties! Just check they are happy to take folk at all levels - we have two here and one is hardcore!

    Butti - Stop stressing about the little jaunt next year. It really isn't a problem (well not compared to the rest you have...). The only slight issue is having to walk for 4 hours each day for 6/7 consecutive days ;) Unless you intend to run around back and forth to check on El, there will be time for camp set up and scoops before the main team arrive :)

    I'm sure Mr Z will have plenty of suggestions ... but why not look at the couch to 5k thread for ideas?

    Don't you think that is the joy of life Northern Las. You stress about something until something else comes along!

    Currently can't identify how I have paid for my car insurance. Either it has come off a card I no longer get statements for :eek: or it has come off someone else's card :T:T :T. Will have to go back and investigate the last four digits on the card. Can I just say, if anyone wants to volunteer to pay my car insurance I'm cool with that!

    So long as we don't do a 20 mile day next year and I find different shoelaces for my boots (ones that stay tied) or different boots I think I will be okay. My lower back starts hurting after about 8 miles so I need to do some work on that.

    Today's little issue;
    A £60 dress for work that would get a lot of use and look good.

    1. Can I afford it? No
    2. Do I need it? It's nice and it looks good.
    3. Would I wear it? Probably about once a week.

    Hmmmm

    Need to go back home and see what I can sell (apart from myself!)
    The lodger?
