Suspect it may be a quiet week for me on here as I plan for Fridays nervous breakdown...will their money arrive at 9 necessitating the barrackading of doors to keep them out ...or at 2 requiring a mad dash down the M1 after the removal van?

Good luck. Apparently it's the most stressful thing after marriage.

Always amazed how fast news travels. A couple of weeks after sale and increased O/D nice cuddly Mr Branson doubles my credit limit. Anyone would think he wanted me to borrow more on his lovely 0% just before it goes up to 32% in May. How thoughtful.

Well strangely calm on THE DAY BEFORE D DAY.
Probably due to me being nowhere near any sort of chain...oh and paying £30 extra so the money hits the bank account tomorrow.
In reality I just have to clear the house of what I want to take and drop the keys off at the estate agent.

Going to call in on storage now to check various arrival scenarios with them.

I wouldn't be calm either but looks like all is going well so hopefully the end of day tomorrow shall see you with a large glass of something nice in your hand, a huge smile on your face and a enormous weight lifted from your shoulders. Not long now...

Good plan...esp. as I spent 10 mins choosing a bottle of wine last night for people I am likely never to meet. Very MSE!

So as you'll have gathered it went well.
I got my stuff (what I could! Slight issue with bedding!) in a very small Toyota Yaris by about 8.15am, the removal men turned up at 8.30am and had all the stuff out and packed by 9.20am.

Driving to the estate agents he called me and said the money had gone in, dropped the keys off (ran into a friend I worked with about 8 years ago!) and drove down with a VERY full car, conscious of the fact that if I braked hard I was likely to be partially decapitated by a very nice Ikea lighthouse print

Can't decide whether to go home and doze on a bottle of red or go out with friends to see Gravity, in which case I should only have a glass and about now.

    Tomorrow is a busy day;

Go to HSBC and have a look at the state of play.
Pay a couple of people off and line up others that need to be paid.
Probably do a chart and report back here.
    Write some Thank you cards
    Write some Christmas cards
    Watch Dr Who.

Can I just say that I have REALLY REALLY appreciated the support I have got on here. There are a few people (now you'll all think I'm talking about you - one of you KNOWS I am talking about you!) who have gone above and beyond and really have kept the wheels on. There's been some really dark days in the past three years but you can get through with the support of your friends and I don't think I would be here without it.

Anyway enough morbidity...I have a glass of wine to drink!
    Shall report back tomorrow.
