Upgrading Mobile contract and cashback

My Iphone 4 contract with Three finishes next month.
I'm currently paying £30 a month for 500 mins, 5000 texts and 1GB data.

I pretty much use all my minutes and maybe 600-700 MB of data a month.

Ideally I want to wait for the Iphone 5, which probably won't be available for a month or two after my contact expires.

My plan was to stick with Three, and based on their current prices I could get their One plan for just £4 more a month than I'm paying now, which would give me extra minutes and data.
I do tether my Iphone to my laptop on occasions, which the One plan would allow me to do.

When taking out the One plan, I see I can get around £100 cashback with Quidco. Can I still get that if I'm an existing customer? How woud I go about doing that if I was upgrading?

Also what would be my best option for the few months inbetween the new Iphone being released? Can I just switch to a sim only deal, and then start the One Plan once the new Iphone comes out?

You would need to take a new contract out for the cashback
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

So if I finish my contract and switch to a Sim only deal next month, I could then take out a new contract once the new Iphone is released effectively as a new customer and then get the cashback?

Would it then be a simple thing to do to switch my existing number to the new contract, baring in mind it would be with the same network?

I've only ever switched numbers by getting a PAC, but assume this unecessary when staying with the same network?

Go on a 1 month sim only, Tesco can do 500 minutes, 5000 texts and 1GB data for £15 with unlimited BT Openzone included.

If you want to stay with Three, they do 600 minutes 3000 texts and 1GB data for £17 on a 1 month contract.

If you left Three then yes.

You don't need a PAC when you're staying with the same network.

There won't be any Cashback deal on an iPhone 5 for at least the first year. (look at what happened with the 4 and 4S, it'll be the same).

I got £60 cashback through Quidco 2 years ago when I got the Iphone 4 at launch. You can get £96.88 when getting an Iphone 4S on the One plan.
