as for the bloke sending proff of post etc, he has his money and there is no way he will mess around with that. if he knew he was selling you a stolen voucher and he has already taken his money then do you really think he is still going to mess around sending proff to paypal. i doubt he still has the account open.
paypal have shot themselves in the foot here and there is nothing they can do to you now they have refunded you
The guy is still selling by the way, and using paypal as his only payment option so i think his account is still open0 -
Couldn't you simply "lose" the credit card and get a new one (with a different number)? As long as there aren't any existing authorisations on your current card I don't see how PayPal could possibly retrieve funds from a new credit card number.
If you have to use PayPal again then I would suggest starting a new account and abandon your existing one.0 -

Report the credit card as lost/stolen. You'll have a new card (with new CC number) within the week. Problem solved.
