mobile charges from landlines

Hi
Can anyone help? My boyfriend is in Spain at the moment and I want to call his Orange mobile from a Talktalk landline,will he be charged to recieve my call?

Yes, he will be charged the same as if he called from the UK to Spain, you however will be charged as if he was in the UK.

Incorrect. As buscape says, he will be charged 7.96p/min, which is not "the same as if he called from the UK to Spain". The 7.96p/min is derived from €0.08 x 0.8293 x 1.20 = £0.0796128 (i.e. the EU price cap), and is not based on any charges for calling from the UK to Spain.

Far better to get him to call YOU from a nearby Payphone - you'll probably get the Caller Display info, and you can just call him back at standard rates for a fixed line call. Otherwise, he can spend €1 to call you and tell you the number!
