I agree with you Poppy9. I think we should all save for our declining years, but I think that it's galling that those who don't bother and who 'spend...spend...spend' all their lives are then entitled to be cared for by the state (meaning all taxpayers!). Certainly those who only earned enough to get by should be helped in every way available. I'm glad to say I did my best to make sure that I would not be too uncomfortable when the time comes.
