Actually, several of us who've commented actually are carers!
We also have memories and can read, which makes us aware of the fact that the OP has been asking for ways she can get off JSA and avoid the Work Programme for many months.0 -

You can look after your relative.
Don't worry about it. I work and still do so.
Just takes a bit of juggling to easily possible - you can still claim JSA and look for work around this.0 -
If you get carers you do not have to be on JSA! You can still claim IS to make up the difference. It is worth checking what other than DLA your dad gets because if he gets some of the additional disability premiums he will lose them if he has a carer0
