Yodel claims package delivered, but I haven't received it

Yodel are well known for marking parcels as delivered when they aren't. It is so the retailers think they have delivered on time. Around 50% of items I order suffer from this.0

Whenever I get a yodel, the parcel is placed on doorstep and they never knock. What makes my laugh though is that I am often sitting on my couch which is almost next to front door and they do not even knock. It is always meant to be signed for regardless and when I go check on line - surprise surprise I have signed for something, but seeing as I did not open door at delivery, this simply is not true. So far no missing parcels.0

Our local Yodel driver marks things as 'no one home - carded' despite not even trying to deliver and the goods being at the warehouse. It looks good to the supplier as they think delivery has been attempted.0

The strategy then is to complain to the supplier. As my sister did in this case. If suppliers receive a stream of complaints, they will be able to work out what is happening.0 -
they did this to me and unfortunately i have had to return the item as the person who came in teh UNMARKED car brought the item in an open condition.0

We stopped using Yodel after several problems, having used them for around 18 months, they don't actually have too many problems percentage wise, but the ones they do are pretty terrible. That gives them a growing poor reputation and even if they guaranteed me 100% delivery I wouldn't use them as customers don't like them.
They offer big companies cheap rates and pay low rates to drivers who consequently often can't be bothered to go an extra few miles to get 50p for delivering a parcel..0
