Good job I kept the last door mirror that got broken. Gaffer taped it up and put it back on. Bangernomics at it's best!

Saves spending £20-25 on a replacement.

Both my mirrors are connected using cable ties.

Both of mine are held on with pieces of plastic drinking chocolate lid screwed in place with small twinthread woodscrews. It's passed the mot twice like this. It happens so often I have a supply of ready cut replacements.
I wish the local loser kids would find another way of gaining a sense of achievement.
  • Just had my drivers side mirror kicked off this evening.

Now that's two mirrors currently gaffer taped up on my car, 4 broken in 3 years!

id rather have the wingmirror break off then have the whole wing mirror assembly get destroyed - meaning the fittings in the door hve to get repaired too.
