    Mum child, Dad Child, sorted.

It's not sorted since the OP doesn't want his child to sit by the aisle.

I guess they've chosen to leave it in Heathrow with a big bag of crisps and pick it up on the way back - good call. :j

Have I read this right, you have a run of 4 seats? If so I cant for the life of understand your problem. Mum child, Dad Child, sorted. Or is it more like you want window seats? Enjoy your holiday x

The child on the aisle is apparently a "safety risk" though - presumably as soon as the parent nods off they'll be charging up the aisle grabbing knives from the galley stabbing people/themselves?

Had this happen (minus the knives) when a little darling kept running up and down the aisle screaming while his parents were just letting him do it.

In an effort to supress the kids 'enthusiasm' I inadvertently stuck out a foot which resulted in the aforementioned child performing a dive that was quite impressive.

The subsequent howling then instigated some action from the parents and the problem was solved.
