Wifi from Iphone for Laptop
I finally succummed to the 21st century and got an Iphone on a "3" network.
I understand however that I could get this to provide wifi access on my laptop but I don't know how to do it! This would be brilliant for me cos I travel loads for work and getting wifi in hotels is rather hit or miss to say the least.
Can anyone help - how to do it and is there a cost involved (Im on an "all you can eat" data package.
Don't panic, I have budgeted for the deal!:money:
thanks

I googled it and got this..
"If you’re on one of our Pay Monthly plans, including the Essential Internet and Ultimate Internet Plans and want to tether, you’ll need to buy an Add-on. You’ll then get a tethering allowance. You can only use this allowance in the UK.
To find out what Add-ons you can get on your plan, and to buy an Add-on, visit your My3 account on your computer, or open My3 on your phone and select Buy Add-ons. "Don't grow up. Its a trap!
Peace, love and labradors!0 -

Go into the Settings Then General Then Network and it;s under INTERNET TETHERING
The way iPhone works is the provider can disable the feature if you have not subscribed to it, so if it's not there call Three who may need to enable it before you can see the option.0 -
Thanks both!
Chester I've done this and it seems enabled but do you know if this is still under the all you can use data or should I check first?0
