I was hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I'm starting night shifts at work, so a laptop with internet would be ideal. At the moment I connect my phone to my laptop on my o2 contract, but it will eat up the broadband entitlement which is about a gig a month.
Every provider I've tried only offer up to 3gb data, which I know wouldn't last long. But I found one on three with 15gb for just over £20 a month. Sounds great. I don't mind the 18 month contract either. But one thing does worry me.
There is no point me getting this if the speeds are poor and so is the signal. I used three's coverage checker and it states it was in a good area. But I will never truly know until I actually try it out.
Three's T&C's state that I can return it within 14 days, as long as I don't use it..
The only way I'm going to find out if its worth it for me is to actually use it at work and test out the speeds etc. But in doing so I void my chance of returning it. Catch 22.
Does anyone know of another provider that does a deal close to three? 3gb is not enough but 15gb sounds about perfect and so does the price. It's the returns policy which worries me.
Any ideas?

You could try a dongle with a prepaid allowance - there is no contract and no commitment. You can get it on eBay and see what kind of service you get.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?
