Huge Orange roaming charges incurred - anything I can do?!
I've recently been on holiday for a couple of weeks through Serbia and Croatia. With access to wi fi in Serbia I had no use for data roaming, however I had no wi fi in Croaia and used date roaming a significant amount.
In retrospect I made a number of huge mistakes, first being that I thought Croatia is in the EU where roaming charges were not too extortionate, turns out that isn't until July 2013. I've racked up a massive bill of over £900! I wasn't aware my usage was so high, and also stupidly didn't purchase any date bundles.
Is there anything I can do now to reduce this bill? Is there a chance Orange will apply date bundles retrospectively to help reduce it? Or am I going to have to face up to paying this bill? The charges seem insanely high at around £8 per MB?!
Any advice or if anyone was in a similar situation and how they handled it would be much appreciated.

Its very common - loads of threads on here about this sort of thing. They might retrospectively apply a bundle but there is no guarantee.
Best thing to do is get in touch with Orange and see what they are willing to do.0 -
You'll remember that holiday for a while then! The best I heard was a 60% reduction with a retrospective data bundle, but keep them sweet by appearing hapless - as your credit file can be ruined by them.0
