Tesco internet

I've read that Tesco offer internet access, and indeed I can see it on their homepage as a link. However, it seems to be a dead link or "Access forbidden".
Anyone on Tesco? I should imagine their BB is much the same price as anyone else's?

We had real problems with tesco internet and changed over to AOL.I found that it was really slow and the connection was lost far too frequently, it was really annoying, a waste of money and time as most of my time online was spent trying to get back online.
My dad has tesco broadband and has the same problems, we are forever getting phonecalls from him to nip round and sort out his computer problems. He spent over £80 one month on phone calls to their technical support to try and get his broadband up and running.
Since I swapped over to AOL I have had no problems, never had a connection timed out notice which I had constantly with tescos service.
The price of tesco and AOL unlimited broadband is the same at £14.99 a month.Theres other things to consider too when choosing a provider apart from the price.Look at their home page layout(some providers have better home pages with great info and easy to use toolbars, check which one suits you best in this respect),what help and support do they provide on or offline and the cost of this. How many free e-mail addresses do you get with the package and are their other services available and what do these cost.
BEFORE YOU DECIDE ON YOUR PROVIDER CHECK WHO YOUR NEARBY FRIENDS, FAMILY AND NEIGHBORS USE AND WHETHER THEY HAVE ANY PROBLEMS AS I THINK CONNECTION PROBLEMS ARE BASED ON THE LOCALITY.
Good luck and enjoy your broadband once you do get it."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -
Quick summary:
512Kb uncapped £17.97
1MB 6MB cap £17.97
1MB uncapped £19.97
2MB 10GB cap £19.97:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
